Dear Onieda, It sure sounds like you have a passion for helping kids like most people here. Let me introduce myself; I am Huck Finn (I chose that because Huck is the personification of my childhood dreams.) I'm glad you found CBLF. It's a blessing to have an "on-line" church of believers. Because as you can see on the main page, when two or more are gathered, I am there. Well, The Lord is always here with us. Your relationship with your YF sounds like it's a huge blessing. Praise God huh? I'm 18 myself with I guess you would say, "Younger Friends." So many times I think about "What if my YF is gay." I don't know about you, but I believe that homosexuality acts are something that should not be acted out. And I know I've struggled with it. I always pray for my YFs that they don't have to go through what I did. But on the same token, I pray they would be open with me. That way I could help them. On the other hand, if they know about me and they tell me they are gay, then what could that lead to. Life's hard sometimes, but the best thing about this place is that we can encourage each other and I hope to hear more from you! God Bless you, Huck Finn |
