Hi Onieda, Welcome here, and it's great to hear about your love and concern for boys, and your work for children in your job. Keep that sense of never wanting to harm them uppermost in your mind. I've had the same thing where I've wondered whether a boy was gay, because if he was I wanted to help him. But sometimes wondering too much is a bad thing because I would be tempted to try to find out when he wasn't ready to open up. That would probably be bad for him. I suppose it's easier if the boy already knows about you, then he knows he can open up to you if and when he needs to. But then if he doesn't already know it might be a bad thing to tell him directly because he'll wonder why you're telling him... If you're in situations where you can watch him sleeping, is that why you're getting stronger feelings for him? Would you think it better to change the circumstances? I know it's not wrong in itself -- it's what any father would do, but I just wonder if it's just you and him...and you said you might be tempted if he made the first move. You must have his parents' trust to have him over so much. It's great that you've made the move to find Christian fellowship here and open up to us. You should know that you are loved and accepted here. If you want anyone specifically to be accountable to, then just say, and someone might offer to keep in regular contact.
