Okay, what if I believe in Jesus, and decide to commit adultery or steal! Am I saved? Of course NOT!!! Salvation is *MORE* than mere belief! Salvation is faith and works, or rather, faith working through and with works, by God's grace, that brings salvation! To be saved, YES one must believe in Jesus! One must also believe in God, teh three in one, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost! And one must be baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost!! And one must serve Him in His Church, which is the Catholic Church! Of course, people whom through no fualt of their own, are outside the Catholic Church, but are at least baptized and accept the basic tenents of the Christian faith, can be saved. But salvation is MORE than simple belief! And a man that molests a child, and does not turn himself into the authorities, I sincerely doubt his repentence! ps. Lusting after a girl, and actually taking the step to molest her, are two different things. I am talking about Pedophiles that actually molest or have molested, minors! |
