...is of course Jesus Christ.

I think I've shared here before that when I'm working one of my favourite screen backgrounds is a detail from Michelangelo's painting of the Holy Family (the Doni Tondo) with the naked infant Jesus. There are many other paintings which also portray this Image of God in his purest form. The Word became flesh.

Since the eternal Son of God does indeed transcend the human form, young or old, it is valid to see him in any human being, but especially in the underprivliged, the poor, the orphan, the neglected. For he is the one who said, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." (Matt.25:40)

In our appreciation of boys, we should not be consumed with lust for those we see around us, but instead should worship the one who is our Saviour, and serve his younger brothers everywhere.

With Christian love,

Jules
