Armenta, thank you for taking the time to say something calmly instead of doing a hit and run "you are sick and will burn" flame, like most others do. I try to do what I feel is right, but sadly enough what i feel is right doesn't always coincide with what i feel is enjoyable or pleasant... You say that there is an objective moral standard, recognised by all people. I disagree, if you look troughout history and different cultures you will see that what is considerd to be be morally acceptable differs immensly from place to place and time to time. People do not have the authority and are incapable to set a moral standard. You just have to think about nazi Germany before and during WW2, the majority of people found it morally acceptable to persecute the Jews and other minoritys, but that still doesn't mean it was right. In my opinion, God sets and is the moral standard. If people happen to disagree with Him, then that's their problem... Being a boylover is being attracted towards kids and I doubt that ones sexual attraction can be changed. But it doesn't mean that you can't control those feelings. I, like you, can only be held responsible for my deads...for what I do, not for who I am... Like I said, I'm glad you took the trouble to talk to us in a calm and friendly way...it would be nice to hear more of what you have to say... -zip- |
