howdy again. some interesting points you bring up there. i did not in any way take offense to yer post, or the reference to serial murder. dont worry, it usually takes tons to offend me, i fail to find most things offending. about yer morality argument, i very briefly must say: i speak for absolutely no one else. i live my life, and i try to live it according to my beliefs. the Lord did not tell me to live by the standards of what *most ofthe world* finds acceptable. indeed, He has directed me to be in the world and *not* of it...to be a light on a hill, the salt of the earth... an interesting view i heard yesterrday: most times i think of salt of the earth as meaning flavor, spice if you will for our world to see and desire to be like us, ie with Christ. i heard ths yesterday: salt is a preservative... the world is a rotting and dying organism (a slow and painful death from adam's legacy). the church, by preserving it, is the salt. when the rapture comes, and the entire chruch dissapperas, the world will quickly end shortly thereafter... so we should make the best of our time. and BTW, thx to dirk for his expanataion. i often take our Vocab. for granted w/o realizing how most people take it... but back to my main point, i live my life according to me, to my Lord, and to His word.... He directs me to love... that is the whole bible, IMHO, in one phrase...
