Hey Rex, if you gotta go, you gotta go, but I'll miss you if you do. You've been giving me a different perspective on various things, making me think, which is always a good thing. I've appreciated your honesty. Thanks for sharing the complaint about your AF, and thanks for the implied warning. What are the best alternative histories? He could have not sent you back home that time, could have you accepted you inside for something more intimate. But would that have been better? It'd go against our general morals, and how could that be better? He could have not have given you any special attention in the first place. You seem to be saying that would have been better. His affection towards you ended up confusing you, which confusion you're still resolving today. Better not to have had the affection at all? He could have continued showing you affection, with the cuddles and hugs, but explained completely openly why he was afraid to get any closer. Would that have been better? That might have opened up the pathway for you to grow in understanding of love and of him, without the confusion driving in since you were explained what the affection was between you and acknowledged it. In my opinion, this path, the one of open communication, is the more honest one and therefore the better one. What do you think? Like I said, if you have to leave, go with God's blessings, but you've been a blessing here, and I do hope you can stay. There is still much to talk about! We haven't even finished discussing Gen 1!
