The Art of Deleting

Hi ChoirBoy,

I can see a few people here are getting concerned over the board's mission. This discussion comes back every so often. You have asked what the policy is-- its pretty much that I delete anything that is an outright flame that has not been responded to. But then, there are the exceptions. Why? This line in the FAQ:

NonChristians and nonboylovers are welcome to post here;

The fact that this is a support forum doesn't negate the ability to educate and enlighten "outsiders" to the boylove reality. That's why the posts from James Jameson, who is after all a Christian; Frank, who said that acting on these feelings is wrong, but having them isn't; and armenta, who asked very politely for us to consider the implications of our decisions; were left on the board.

And so, it is a judgement call each time I read a flame. As sole administrator/moderator of this board I make that call. And, as F.O.D. pointed out, if I'm alseep or at work it will take a few hours before I can even see the post. Normally if I can get a post within 10-15 minutes of posting and there are no replies I will delete it.

Again from the FAQ:
including thoughtful discussions of what behavior is appropriate for Christian boylovers

Again, James Jameson is a special case. He is known to many on these boards from previous posts, and if a supposedly "religious man" such as himself can't discuss these issues on a Christian Boylove Forum, where else could he possibly be enlightened? That said, I deleted 2 other posts of his that were unsuitable for this board.

Trying to find the happy medium,
Peace of Christ,
Bach
