I am a person who loves children, and am a bit more open than the average person, or would like to be when given the chance. A "classical BL" is by definition a pedophile, although there are a few people who post on BL boards who consider themselves boylovers who as far as I can tell are exactly like I am (I do not consider them boylovers, but I'm not going to argue with them over labels). I used the definition I saw on the www.ivan.net page as of February 1999, which is when I started reading BoyChat. That page has changed and the defintion may not be up there anymore. The gist of it was that boylover was someone who was romantically and sexually attracted to boys and who loved boys with his heart not his gonads. I fit the latter. I also love girls the same as boys, although at certain ages boys are more fun to horse around with. When it comes to gonads, however, it's strictly adult women (with women, don't worry, my heart is ahead of my hormones, or God soon puts it there). -David, "d" |
