Welcome to the board Dunstin! I am glad you "Checked in" (So sorry! I couldnt resist!) I am new to the board myself. It is very helpful. There is good advice and good friends and good experiences to share together. I dont know how many of the Boy Lovers here have similar experiences but I am finding out most do. I have the same family situations! Being raised a Christian some of us have been raised as "boys in the Christian bubble" ourselves. We have been sheltered from reality in efforts from out parents to "protect" us from the world outside. Unfortunately, at least for me, this bubble hurt me more than it did help. When faced with reality in college I failed miserably. I never related well growing up with my peers and really still dont. But somehow miraculously I can meet a boy and within minutes we are best and inseparable friends. It is truly a gift I cherish even with the "comments" and "looks" over the years. It it very difficult even now where to draw the line at how much time to spend with my boys! Very difficult indeed. I have to go but I hope to talk again. -Pendragon |
