It's not the physical aspect of masturbation which is problematic. It's the mental impurity and lack of self-restraint which is reinforced by taking matters into one's own hands.

My views on this matter are not new or revolutionary. It's only in the past few decades that some Christians have decided that if it feels good, they should do it. It's true that when the body is healthy, there will be discharges. Over 1500 years ago, the question of Levitical cleanliness was answered in relation to these discharges.
