Not for me...

I have 1 older brother, so I'm not an only child.

I have never had loads of friends, but I've always had a number of peers who I consider to be good friends. My main social problem is that I find it hard to stay in touch with people. I find it hard to distinguish when people are being friendly or just polite to me...

My attraction towards kids started when I was in my very early teens and when I had quite a number of friends from school and stuff, so I doubt it was a way of substituting.

I've also had a very normal relationship with my parents.

What I've learned from talking to other BLs and hearing their story's is that there seems to be no common factor that could have steered our attraction. Off course their are people who recognise some so-called contributing factors in their lives and tend to zoom in on that to explain their attraction, cause we are always looking for answers.

I do agree that some things might influence ones sexuality (like abuse), but it's impossible to proove that it's applicable in specific cases. What would it change if you could find things in your past that you think influenced your sexual orientation? For myself I have concluded that I just am the way I am. I have no idea why I like boys, but I do.

God bless,
