Is it alright to cause anyone to sin?

Somehow I expected you to answer like this, it's a pitty that irony doesn't travel well over the net. Off course it isn't allright to cause anyone to sin. My question was: "What is meant with these words if He was talking about children instead of believers?".

At what age and whether child can be held acountable is highly debatable and (as you said) differs immensely from person to person. My point was that this part of the verse: "...who believe in me..." doesn't seem to fit if He was talking about little children. It does make sense if he would be talking about believers.

Why do it find it important to discuss this? One of your previous posts suggested that this kind of sin is worse that others and you base it on this verse, which I think you have interpretted wrongly.

In today's society and (more often than not) churches, people don't seem all too bothered about sins like adultery and such. People who come out and admit that they struggle with it get help, support and understanding. This is not the case for people who come out and admit that they are struggling with sexual feelings towards minors. They are often seen as sick, perverted, dangerous and evil. This is why I've never been able to tell anyone IRL about my problems. This is why everyone has to hide behind nicks and anonymous e-mail addresses.

Why is this distinction made, if both sins which they are struggling with (temptation) are as wrong?
