Anyone near LA should be able to substantiate this

Anyone in greater Los Angeles, CA should be able to substantiate this.
Old phone books should be available through the Los Angeles main library or the phone company archives, "Mrs. Scott's Boarding Home" should be listed, once we have a year that it existed.

In most states, juvenille records other than birth certificates and high school graduation records (or transcripts) are not public.

There should be a record of a William Mclean in the Air Force (there are probably hundreds of them).

So, Bill, what years were the boarding home in operation under that name? And how would we be able to check into your juvenille records?

Anyone want to do some digging?
