I find there's a limit to how much I can take in of the anguish I see expressed on BC that comes from people putting themselves and others down. Without spending time away from it to be with the Lord, I'd either have to cut off contact completely or become jaded and uncaring. How much more is must have been with Jesus himself who saw the same thing around him each day and knew not only how harmful but also how totally unnecessary it was. He needed close communion with the Father to be able to continue the way of compassion. ---Ford |
