Proof would cause me to know it isn't true. If I would believe it wasn't true, that would mean I had no proof, but had faith in something else.

Off course belief isn't something totally independent of everything else in. My belief is grounded in loads of things, which seem to back up what I believe.

Lets imagine that someone planted a bomb in the skyscaper and it would blow up in 5 minutes and you would die if you didn't get out fast. Before you can get out, you have to make a choice. Eleven doors will lead to death, one to safety. I can hear loads of people telling you to take door A or E or F, but I'm convinced that they will lead to death. I am convinced that door B will lead to safety. I don't say anything, 'cause I might be wrong, 'cause I can't proove that it's the truth that door B leads to safety. He listens to someone else, choosed door E and dies. Afterwards you wonder if you shouldn't have warned him. Maybe he wouldn't have believed you and would have died all the same, but at least you would have done all you could to warn him.

If you are convinced that you know something that can help people, then I think you are morally obliged to tell them. Whet excuse is there? I was totally convinced, but scared I might be wrong?
