Your statement is like the words of Ponchus Pilot; What is truth?" He did not want to condemn Jesus to death. He ceremonally washed his hands concerning the issue and let the crowd (who were controled by the religious leaders of the times) make the jedgement. There is a lot of evidence available concerning the truth of the entire Bible. Ignore it if you want. Times are tough and there are so many conflicting views; I sure do not condemn you for your view. My grandmother and most of my family felt the same way as you do. However, I believe the strong ancient based evidence I have found. It corresponds with evedence of modern times. There really is a lot of evidence for and against my views. Actually, there really is no absolute proof for either side. On one side there is the prospect of justice and love and everlasting life. On the other side there is only the prospect of nothing. Maybe it is just a matter of what you wish for. I hope not. Whatever the truth is, if you want it, you will find it. Jesus said, "And they shall know the truth and the truth shall set them free." Thank you for your honest reaction. I think you're okay. |
