Which comes down to the fundamental question of how do I know that I'm 'saved' - to use the evangelical terminology. As James says - unless you're faith is shown in some sort of works, then it is not a real faith. And a particular element of that work is commitment to living God's way. It is sad but true that the way to life is narrow and FEW find it. That's another of those doctrines that I don't really like!!
