Jake It is only when I came into faith, into religion, philsophy, dreams, Christ,and support groups that I accepted my atrraction to boys. For my whole life I had always damned the universe for making me a boylover, and said "If there is a God out there take these feelings away from me." Well they never disappeared, and eventually God got me anyway. I resisted God, my boylove, and my homosexuality all through hish school until finally one day during college I broke down and could not fight my authentic self any longer. We have to be true to our ture self, because that is where God lives within us. He is in that true self that we so often escape from and cover up with false egos. Thus, we must say to God "okay I like boys and you, and society may call me a bastard or a hippocrite, or whatever, but this is who I am, so please help me."This is all we can do, accept and be true. Believe me there are costs, and I have endurede quite a few, but I have to keep the hope alive that there actually is this unseeable,loving divinty that cares about me; because without that small hope, that tiny candle bruing in a blackended forest my life would not be worth living. Good luck Jake in whereever life takes you, just remember that "the kingdom of Heaven is within" mening your own peronal reality is within yourself, you just have to allow it to emerge.
