Was to man who was 25. Or so he always claimed to be - though he could have passed for 19. And it was strongly sexual - we had remarkably little in common and there was far less emotional attraction than I've had to most of the people whom I've seen as potential YFs; there has never been anyone else with whom the attraction was so up front sexual; perhaps its how straight men react to Marilyn Munroe? I made gentle attempts to develop the friendship but nothing came of it - and he subsequently disappeared from my life. Its a relationship that I have subsequently used as a benchmark for how I've felt about other guys; I find it fascinating looking back, and now understand it as an exercise in 'sexual chemistry' - though I've no idea how he saw the whole thing. |
