....I think some parables tell us more about God and others tell us more about ourselves. The story of the prodigal son (to me more the story of the loving father) tells us a lot about God. This one, in my opinion, tells us more about ourselves. I think each of us has gifts......gifts that we are naturally endowed to use. However, we can give in to influence and become afraid to use these gifts, and that's a shame. ---Ford |
