I don't really know in detail what it'll be like in heaven. I figure it'll be like that feeling of "being home at last". I'd like to think we'll recognise each other, our loved ones and family, but I'm not sure if it'll really be like that. Maybe we will recognise each other. The only thing I'm sure of, is whatever it'll be, it'll be good.

The way I understand it, we get judged for sins, but that's not something to be fearful of. That's the whole thing Jesus came to do, to deal with the guilt of sins so they don't keep us away from heaven.

I just had an extra thought, though, about whether we'll recognise each other. Jesus, after the resurrection, was supposed to already have the new spiritual body that we'll have in heaven (like what Paul writes about in 1 Cor 15). But his friends still recognised him (though some of them had to think about it first). And at the time of the transfiguration, when Peter and James and John saw Jesus' glory, and Moses and Elijah were there, but Peter even recognised them. So it makes sense that in the same way we'll recognise each other in heaven. Probably even, we'll recognise those we never knew or met in this life.

Regards,

Fod
