The poster known as Stillwater has been posting the articles from the paper for a couple of days now. Among the "statistics" alleged in the article is that there are 110,000 convicted child sex offenders in England and Wales. It is further alleged that the typical offender had molested 380 children. So, you've got 41,800,000 molested children inhabiting your isles. Must be like "Lord of the Flies" with so many there. :-) In addition, it is alleged there are 35,000 teen-age child sex offenders. No estimate is given of how many children each of them molests. And I'd heard the British stereotyped as having a general lack of sexual interest. ---Ford |
