I'm glad you qualified that BLs can successfully work with kids.

I think that finding the balance between letting myself be one of the "other" kids and maintaining my role as the adult in the group has been a challening but rewarding process.

I feel happy about where I've got it at the moment, and your posts have been helpful in getting me there.

I have a good balance of adult relationships. I've got men around me encoraging me and helping me work with my stuff... so when I go play with the kids... its just that...play... and not emotional dependance on my part. Yeah I have needs from the kids... but its an appropriate one me thinks... a need to play and have some fun and let myself "be a boy" for a bit.
