I have to think about my motives because I'm telling myself that I helped Jake out of my "love" of boys. And I want to know if this is true or if I'm just helping him out cause I like how he looks and I am getting off on having someone I like the look of pay attention to me.

Neither of these options changes my opinion about whether I did the right thing... I don't doubt I did the right thing... but I want to be honest with myself about why I did it.
