Why would the "Biblical God... be too horrid a creature to worship" ?

I really have to know your thoughts on that one.

PS: if He does exist then there is no "allowing" Him to dictate what is moral or "allowing" Him to goven or lives... If He exists then He does those things if we allow Him or not.
