I personally think it's great that your in love.
Being in love is wonderful.

I would only encourage you to adjust your expectations of the situation.
Stop trying to change things... and just accept what they are.

Enjoy your friendship.
Enjoy your frustrations.... I know that sounds silly... but I mean it... enjoy them because they are a sign of the love you feel and that is worth celebrating.

There's really no reason you can't be friends with this guy forever.
Don't pressure him away with your issues... just really really really enjoy what you have.... and suffer the rest patiently.

God hasn't rejected you bro... He's blessed you. Now stand up and be the young MAN He's using this love to train you to be. Holiness does not mean not being in love with your freind... it means expressing that love in holy ways... and that you CAN do and you know it.
