I have maturity issues... but they have gotten easier with age and some counselling.

I hated the idea of growing up
I hated the idea of having to be an adult or having to have adult friends... I just wanted to be a kid and be with kids.

I'm glad that I have gotten past that... that I grew up.

Now I can be with adults and have a good time with them... and I have some great adult friends. I would of course rather be with kids... doing kid stuff... but I know that my life is healthier with these things in balance.

I try and be with kids a lot still and my adult friends don't quite understand that... but they accept me anyway. I'm happy with the maturity I have now... even though others still pressure me to "grow up" some more.

For Father's day my kids got me toy cars and lego! Hehehe... I loved it!
