I fool around with A-S stuff when I'm not doing the classics (have recited Beowulf, Sir Gawain, etc.) and when I did a year as an Anglican, I attended a "St. Bede's" church

I just posted in response to Cat about the dynamic of "We don't want to hear anything about abused boys! Abused boys shut up!" etc that prevails in some BL communities. This story is a valuable corrective to that. It's only in showing RESPECT to the neglected boy that he is healed and becomes part of the community.
