Hi Nash,
I assume you're in the U.S., right? Why don't you just get a digital converter box and stick with over-the-air broadcasts? I have a newer TV, so I don't need a box, but I am using an antenna, and the digital picture is incredible. 10,000% better than analog. You may want to get a powered antenna, but you wouldn't need much -- just a simple indoor one from RadioShack or RCA. I think you can even make a decent one (for digital use), and can likely find instructions on the Net. [The one you have at the moment may even be sufficient.] Blessings, Rainboy P.S. I'm really cheap, and can't stand the thought of paying for cable. I'm quite happy with the 4 or 5 network stations that are available in digital glory over the air waves. |
