Yes. You may find that you can settle for someone beyond your orientation, but they do not fill that need you have.

I think you are going way beyond the realm of what we were discussing. My point was that until you accept who you are and reconcile that with the kind of life you are living, you will not be at peace. How you reconcile the two is up to each individual, but the bottom line is that one day, the lie has to end and you have to see yourself for what you truly are.
