That has nothing to do with what you asked, but I was reminded of it and thought I would share. I thought it was quite relevant. As someone who has never been to a gay district, that's interesting information. "Swishing", huh? I just learned a new word :-) It seems to me that mannerisms are a social construct, whereas sexual orientation is hardwired in the brain. I'd tend to agree (but with a caveat that I'm still not convinced about when hard-wiring occurs). It seems to me that the two (mannerisms and orientation) are probably related in some way, but as you said, you haven't researched the issue, and I haven't either, so maybe we should leave that for another time.
