There is no reason to think God will just cure us of all our problems (let alone that I don't think being a BL in and of itself is a sin) regardless of how faithful we are or anything we do. We learn to deal with our problems not just get a free ride because we are Christians. If I pray hard God will not just give me money or take away bad things about me.
