Welcome young man to cblf. You have made a post already so yes you are welcome to post here under 18. There is no age limit to posting here and even if there was we'd have no way to know how old someone is anyway.

Being curious and confused is normal for everyone your age even if other people seem like they are not so that is perfectly normal. Let me tell you a little secret adults don't know all the answers either. If one tells you he knows all the answers to life's grand questions then you know for sure he is wrong.

I enjoy reading and talking to people about other religions and points of view that are different than my own. It is good to know about other people and often we can both learn something from each other. That and diversity makes life more interesting, would be boring if everyone was like me.

Personally I agree with you that it is fine with God and fine with me that you are gay. I don't know your friend, your family, or your local area so I would be careful about coming out but you know them maybe they would be fine with it.

I'm sorry about your dad, I know how that is. My father was there when I was a kid but often times not really you know. I hope you can find a nice man to talk to, everyone needs close friends they can talk to. Even for adults it is nice to have people who are older than them to talk to, I know I do. Maybe when I am old I will be great and wise and can sit around dispensing advice but until then I give and receive. Maybe you can try talking to a nice teacher or coach or someone like that who seems like they really care about you. Do you have a nice uncle or grandfather who will not treat you like a little kid (which you are not)? Trust your instincts friend, not all men out there are good people or would make good mentors but many would I'm sure you can find someone.
