I feel quite strongly that politics is one area that Christians need to stay out of except in prayer because we are commanded to pray for our leaders UNLESS God has particularly pointed them in that direction.

It is 'Christian' grandstanding and soap boxing on hot topics that has led and is leading to so much of the backlash against Christians in the world.
