Trust me marc, I know exactly the pain you are going through. I felt the same regret at a couple of points, but after long consideration and a hard soul-search, I decided that I am happy with my life and have no regrets. I will probably feel the same pain in the future, but I must not regret that either.

Life has dizzying highs and abismal lows. You can't have one without the other, so it's better than living in an emotional cocoon. My prayers are with you as your wrestle with this.
