I didn't intend to pull up the welcome mat and in fact if you interact as any member of the board I'm liable to treat you as such, with the memory that you are a Mormon fading out. This follows from my comment about it being possible to be a genuine follower of Jesus despite being a Mormon - if what I offer is of God and you find it palatable, then we've both gained. Similarly I test what is put before me without worrying a lot about its origin - Orson Scott Card is easily my favourite SF writer despite his being a Mormon and at times I feel he has a spiritual insight with which I concur.

I guess I need to hear the lesson that those who have experience rejection in the past will be more sensitive to the elements of rejection in a post than is perhaps intended; I hope I will learn to get that balance more accurately in the future.
