I didn't mean that the world is supposed to work like that. . I just mean that a relationship between a needy young man and a needy young boy doesn't fit easily into the way society likes to run things. Society is a heavy taskmaster and requires strict conformity (more in some communities than others. Any deviation from that strict norm is possible but comes at great risk to anyone trying it. If you are really tough-skinned I'm not saying it isn't impossible but for me it always was for lots of reasons.
