Our history seems to be one of how GOD keeps saving the few out of the many who keep looking to Him with a Repent heart and desire to be Free. Jesus said at Luke,4:18-19 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has Anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor: He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are Bruised. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord." At Matt.5:3 He said, "Blessed are the poor in spirit for their's is the Kingdom of heaven." And I know I am indeed poor in spirit. Broken hearted and captive and blind and also have been bruised. The preachings and teachings of Jesus have given me Hope, and each day seeking Repentance from dead works, bad desires and thoughts. Seeking and finding the Truth that leads to Eternal Life as we read of it at John,17:3 Such is my 2cent on this subject. |
