I think that the police would say that any complaint by the public would need to be investigated by them. I did see the interview and he didn't admit to anything illegal (so far as I understood the law) but he was far far too candid about feelings and thoughts. I doubt that he was taken to court but he would have been fingerprinted anyway (no conviction for this necessary over here).
I should imagine that oz would be very similar if not worse.
