You do realize that you are both calling emotion-based logic illegitimate and appealing to emotions simultaneously? On the one hand you accuse people of having an illegitimate sense of logic based on feel-good emotions about how pretty and symmetrical certain passages of scripture are, and on the other hand you promote that people base their logic on the emotions that come with having a personal relationship with people in a committed gay relationship. It seems to me that both of those views are just as illegitimate. You are just as wrong if you base your logic on emotions generated by scripture as you are if you base it on emotions generated by personal relationships.
