I just cannot go along with the idea that we live in a 'fallen' world (except in a descriptive sense) because the world was being created for millions of years before man came on the scene.

I can appreciate what you're saying. And maybe, in a sense, you're right. However, semantics aside, I don't think it fundamentally changes what I was trying to get at. Maybe 'fallen' introduces unnecessary baggage to the discussion, but at the core, I do still believe this is a broken world. Any world with sickness, rape, child abuse, genocide, etc... is 'broken' in my book.

And yet, despite it all, God brings about good in and through the lives of those who love Him ...
