A sometime member of this board told me in a private conversation that he had such a conversation with his YF. OK he was 14 rather than 16 at the time, but even so; the outcome was that the YF freaked, told his parents who told the church and the BL's life became... interesting. Happily the church coped quite well, though he was discouraged from too much active involvement with young people in the future. But in general I agree with Dakota - we're desperate for the warm fuzzies that our YFs can provide, but we're far too inclined to take risks to get them if we're not careful.
