That in his Father's kingdom there are many mansions? I believe that creativity is ultimately the goal of the whole universe. We had to evolve over millions of years to give rise to subjectivity. As Carl Sagan said, "If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe". Our fantasies, feelings, fetishes and foolery are ALL part of the cosmic creativity of the universe! And since we presumably have an ETERNITY to reap these rewards, sown by us and ALL our ancestors... who's to say that we can't make ANY world we can dream of? The same heaven would get boring after a while! |
