I see my YF once every week or two (in various settings).

can anyone share their first moment they met their yf ? and what was it that showed you he really liked you. ? (the first time)

I had seen him (from a distance) at church prior to this time, but the first real time we talked was outside of church. He was with his friends, and he just happened to recognize me. He called out to me and asked me if I remembered him from church. Then we talked for a bit. Though, at that time, I don't think either of us knew that we would ever "like" each other -- we hardly knew each other -- the thing that impressed me about him (and which I will always remember), is that he treated me with dignity. I have always been kinda scared of teenagers (due to my inability to relate to them when I was a teenager), and I have (had?) a pretty low self-image, particularly around them. But he didn't see that. He didn't see me for the "loser" I thought I was. Even though he was there with his friends, he was not embarrassed to be seen talking with me, but treated me like a friend. I was so BLESSED by that, and see it as a testimony of what a good, kind heart he has. [I'm so proud of him!]
