Having a yf is such a bittersweet experience.

On one hand he's the sourse of so much joy and happiness and on the other so much heart ache and pain.

These kids simply don't belong to us and we don't get to be with them as much as we'd love too.

And, inevitably, they grow up.

I look forward to eternity with my yf as I do with all my brothers and sisters in Christ whom God has filled my heart to love.... but their boyhood is over before you blink. Enjoy it while it lasts. Savour every moment with grattitude.
