I don't think it matters as much about how his body is taken care of as how his soul is taken care of before he dies. I know this isn't something you and I normally talk about Nash, but have you ever spoken to your dad about the Lord? You might be the only hope he has to come to know Christ before he dies. As far as being able to communicate with the dead, that really isn't what God wants us to be getting into. I don't think it is possible, anyway.
