All of those other people had numerous supporters outside of their own groups. Blacks had a lot of white allies. Gays had a lot of straight allies. Jews had a lot of non-Jewish allies. The only people who really support us are other pedophiles. That makes it very hard for us to be accepted. If we can ever even get 10% of the people fully on our side, it will help us immensely. But as long as our non-pedo allies can be counted on one hand, we can never hope for much acceptance.
