You must have a very interesting and neat YF, Rainboy. If I may ask, how old is he? Those kind of movies are not the usual kid fare, especially if they have subtitles. From everything I've heard about "The Road" so far, and because I too have read the book, I think both you and your YF will enjoy the movie. And I'm sure I will, too. I don't mind if it is a little off the normal, Hollywood "beaten path", in fact I like movies like that. I like directors like Quentin Tarantino who love to do odball stuff and push the envelope. I'm not familiar with John Hillcoat (the director of The Road), but like I said, from everything I've heard about the movie so far, it should be good. Let me know what you think if you get to see it before I do, ok?
