I love boys but the sad fact is you have to keep them at arms length under present day hysterical attitudes.

It's not a fact at all. I know many BLs who have had or currently have YFs, myself being one of them. What I have found is that unless you meet the stereotype of a pedophile, you don't have much to worry about. People who don't know you will assume that the boy is your son, nephew, or whatever. People who do know you will think it's so great you are mentoring a boy and will make up excuses for why they just don't have the time to contribute to the community in such a wonderful way like you do.
